The Multimedia & Entertainment Initiative received almost 700 entries from California Community College students attending college in a multimedia program in 2004. The 2005 Media Arts Award Competition, celebrates these students artistic achievements. The Media Arts Award Competition had more than 50 faculty and industry professionals screened and judged the entries. 2005 Media Arts Awards Merit Recipients from Cypress College are;

Kevin Campbell in the Computer Animation category with his work titled
